Die Verfügbarkeit der blauen Lichtechtheitstypen 1-8 aus Wollgewebe gemäß ISO 105-B02 ist weiterhin sichergestellt!

Der Lagerbestand an Farbstoff „C.I. Acid Blue 109“ gemäß ISO 105-B02 wurde mit neu synthetisiertem Farbstoff aufgefüllt.
Der Lichtechtheitstyp 2 für die Belichtungsprüfungen nach ISO 105-B02, DIN EN ISO 105-B02 oder DIN EN ISO 105-B04 ist damit weiterhin gesichert und kann in normgerechter Qualität bei den Vertriebspartnern der Deutschen Echtheitskommission GmbH geordert werden.

 

Häufig gestellten Fragen:

Frage 1:
Entspricht der neu synthetisierte Farbstoff Typ dem in ISO 105-B02, Tabelle 1 aufgelisteten Farbstoff „C.I. Acid Blue 109“?
Antwort:
Ja, es handelt sich um diesen in der Norm genannten Farbstoff.

 

Frage 2:
Der neu produzierte Lichtechtheitstyp 2 ist dem Lichtechtheitstyp 1 im Farbton sehr ähnlich. Wo ist der Unterschied?
Antwort:
Der Farbstoff für den Lichtechtheitstyp 2 wurde neu synthetisiert. Zusammen mit der Eigenfarbe der Wolle ist das optische Erscheinungsbild des neuen Lichtechtheitstyps 2 weniger brillant als früher und ähnelt vom Farbeindruck dem Lichtechtheitstyp 1. Es handelt sich aber bei Typ 1 und Typ 2 um verschiedene Farbstoffe (siehe Tabelle 1 der ISO 105-B02) mit unterschiedlichem Fadingverhalten.

 

Frage 3:
Ist das Fadingverhalten des neuen Lichtechtheitstyps 2 mit dem früheren Lichtechtheitstyp 2 vergleichbar?
Antwort:
Das Fadingverhalten des neuen Lichtechtheitstyps 2 entspricht früheren Chargen des bisher verwendeten Lichtechtheitstyps 2. Dies wurde mit Belichtungsreihen von akkreditierten Prüfinstituten bestätigt.

 

Frage 4:
Warum gab es Lieferschwierigkeiten beim neuen Lichtechtheitstyp 2?
Antwort:
Die Vorräte der Deutschen Echtheitskommission des bisherigen Lichtechtheitstyps 2 waren aufgebraucht und mussten nachproduziert werden - dazu musste der Farbstoff „C.I. Acid Blue 109“ neu synthetisiert werden.
Die Deutsche Echtheitskommission GmbH steht zu ihrer Verantwortung, nur geprüfte Qualität zu liefern. In umfangreichen Belichtungsreihen wurde die Normenkonformität des neu gefertigten Lichtechtheitstyps 2 bestätigt.

The stock of dye “C.I. Acid Blue 109” corresponding ISO 105-B02, table 1 has been replenished with a new batch of dye.
The Blue Wool Reference No. 2 for colour fastness tests to artificial light according to ISO standards ISO 105-B02 or ISO 105-B04 is furthermore safe and can be ordered from the partners of the DEK “German Colourfastness Committee”. The Blue Wool Reference No. 2 meets all requirements of the referring ISO documents.

Q 1:
Is the new synthesized batch of dye No. 2 equivalent to dyestuff “C.I. Acid Blue 109” named in table 1 of ISO 105-B02?
A:
Yes, the dye is in accordance with ISO 105-B02.

 

Q 2:
The apparent colour of the new produced Blue Wool Reference No. 2 is similar to Blue Wool Reference No. 1. What is the difference?
A:
A new batch of dyestuff for Blue Wool Reference No. 2 has been produced. Combined with the shade of the wool fabric the new Blue Wool Reference No. 2 seems to be less brilliant in colour and therefore similar to Blue Wool Reference No. 1. Indeed Blue Wool Reference No. 1 and Blue Wool Reference No. 2 contain two totally different dyestuff molecules with different fading behavior.

 

Q 3:
Is the fading behavior of the new Blue Wool Reference No. 2 comparable to the old Blue Wool Reference No. 2?
A:
Yes, the fading behavior of the old and new Blue Wool Reference No. 2 is identical. This has been confirmed during lightfastness test series in several accredited institutes.

 

Q 4:
What caused the delays in supply of the Blue Wool Reference No. 2?
A:
The Blue Wool Reference No. 2 ran out of stock and a new batch had to be produced. DEK is aware of its responsibility for the quality of the standard reference materials sold. Therefore the conformity to the existing ISO standards was tested and proofed in extensive test series.
